# Livetop vs EDU

The clearest difference is rating: Livetop at 3.9 against EDU's 1.0. Livetop also leads on ratings volume (13 vs 1) and device support (3 vs 1). EDU's advantage is update cadence (every 3 months vs every 11 months). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

Livetop holds the better App Store score, 3.9 against 1.0. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Livetop has 13 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two.

Livetop ships an update every 11 months, EDU every 3 months. The most recent releases landed on October 24, 2026 and October 22, 2026 respectively.
