# Buzz vs Meet

The clearest difference is rating: Meet at 5.0 against Buzz's 4.4. Meet also leads on in-app purchases (none vs 10) and update cadence (weekly vs every 3 weeks). Buzz's advantage is ratings volume (1.5K vs 1). On price, ads and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Buzz sells 10 in-app purchases, starting at $9.99 per 7 days. Meet asks for nothing beyond the download.

Meet holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.4. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Buzz has 1.5K ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two.

Buzz ships an update every 3 weeks, Meet weekly. The most recent releases landed on October 26, 2026 and October 24, 2026 respectively.
