# Buzz vs Orbit

The clearest difference is rating: Orbit at 5.0 against Buzz's 4.4. Orbit also leads on update cadence (every 3 days vs every 3 weeks). Buzz's advantage is ratings volume (1.5K vs 1) and iOS requirement (16.0 vs 26.0). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Buzz sells 10 in-app purchases, starting at $9.99 per 7 days and Orbit sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $2.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Orbit holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.4. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Buzz has 1.5K ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two.

Buzz ships an update every 3 weeks, Orbit every 3 days. The most recent releases landed on October 24, 2026 and October 20, 2026 respectively.
