# Ape UP! vs Zodiac Runner!

The clearest difference is update cadence: Zodiac Runner! at every 10 days against Ape UP!'s every 133 months. Zodiac Runner! also leads on ratings volume (54K vs 1) and device support. Ape UP!'s advantage is rating (5.0 vs 4.6) and monetization model (free vs free with in-app purchases). On price, in-app purchases and iOS requirement there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Ape UP! sells 1 one-off in-app purchase and Zodiac Runner! sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Ape UP! holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.6. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Zodiac Runner! has 54K ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two.

Ape UP! ships an update every 133 months, Zodiac Runner! every 10 days. The most recent releases landed on October 24, 2026 and October 26, 2026 respectively.
