# Wheels Up vs Secur

Wheels Up and Secur both sit at 4.8 stars, but that hides the real split: 93% of Secur's written reviews are positive against 46% of Wheels Up's. Secur also leads on monetization model (free vs free with in-app purchases) and iOS requirement (13.0 vs 15.0). Wheels Up's advantage is ratings volume (4.6K vs 26) and update cadence (every 10 days vs every 5 weeks). On price, rating, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 4.8 for Wheels Up against 4.8 for Secur. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Wheels Up has 4.6K ratings behind it against 26, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews are what separate them: 46% of Wheels Up's written reviews are positive against 93% of Secur's.

Wheels Up ships an update every 10 days, Secur every 5 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 22, 2026 and October 15, 2026 respectively.
