# Time vs Flight Time Calculator

The clearest difference is in-app purchases: Flight Time Calculator at none against Time's 6. Flight Time Calculator also leads on ads (none vs shown) and review sentiment (100% vs 74%). Time's advantage is update cadence (every 2 months vs every 13 months) and ratings volume (362 vs 17). On price, rating and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Time sells 6 one-off in-app purchases. Flight Time Calculator asks for nothing beyond the download.

Time holds the better App Store score, 4.8 against 4.6. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Time has 362 ratings behind it against 17, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 74% of Time's written reviews are positive against 100% of Flight Time Calculator's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Time ships an update every 2 months, Flight Time Calculator every 13 months. The most recent releases landed on October 29, 2026 and October 27, 2026 respectively.
