# Time vs PF One

The clearest difference is in-app purchases: PF One at none against Time's 6. PF One also leads on ads (none vs shown) and update cadence (every 3 weeks vs every 2 months). Time's advantage is ratings volume (362 vs 2). On price, rating, device support and iOS requirement there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Time sells 6 one-off in-app purchases. PF One asks for nothing beyond the download.

PF One holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.8. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Time has 362 ratings behind it against 2, so its average is the more settled of the two.

Time ships an update every 2 months, PF One every 3 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 24, 2026 and October 28, 2026 respectively.
