# Bosch Mobile Scan vs Gretio

The clearest difference is review sentiment: Gretio at 72% against Bosch Mobile Scan's 11%. Gretio also leads on rating (3.8 vs 1.9) and update cadence (fortnightly vs every 10 months). Bosch Mobile Scan's advantage is ratings volume (131 vs 23) and iOS requirement (8.0 vs 18.0). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Bosch Mobile Scan sells 10 one-off in-app purchases and Gretio sells 4 in-app purchases, starting at $19.99 per year. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Gretio holds the better App Store score, 3.8 against 1.9. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Bosch Mobile Scan has 131 ratings behind it against 23, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews point the same way: 11% of Bosch Mobile Scan's written reviews are positive against 72% of Gretio's.

Bosch Mobile Scan ships an update every 10 months, Gretio fortnightly. Both last shipped on October 24, 2026.
