# Arabic Instrument Pro vs Oud Sim

The clearest difference is rating: Oud Sim at 5.0 against Arabic Instrument Pro's 3.7. Arabic Instrument Pro's advantage is ads (none vs shown) and ratings volume (26 vs 2). On price, update cadence, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Arabic Instrument Pro sells 1 one-off in-app purchase and Oud Sim sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Oud Sim holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 3.7. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Arabic Instrument Pro has 26 ratings behind it against 2, so its average is the more settled of the two.

Arabic Instrument Pro ships an update every 5 weeks, Oud Sim every 6 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 3, 2026 and October 2, 2026 respectively.
