# Yandex ID vs Ижица

Yandex ID and Ижица both sit at 4.6 stars, but that hides the real split: 78% of Ижица's written reviews are positive against 30% of Yandex ID's. Yandex ID's advantage is in-app purchases (none vs 1) and update cadence (fortnightly vs every 19 months). On price, rating, ads and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Ижица sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Yandex ID asks for nothing beyond the download.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 4.6 for Yandex ID against 4.7 for Ижица. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Yandex ID has 328 ratings behind it against 3, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews are what separate them: 30% of Yandex ID's written reviews are positive against 78% of Ижица's.

Yandex ID ships an update fortnightly, Ижица every 19 months. The most recent releases landed on November 6, 2026 and November 3, 2026 respectively.
