# Yandex ID vs Фридом Интернет друзей

The clearest difference is rating: Yandex ID at 4.6 against Фридом Интернет друзей's 2.3. Yandex ID also leads on ratings volume (318 vs 3) and update cadence (fortnightly vs every 2 months). Фридом Интернет друзей's advantage is review sentiment (50% vs 30%) and iOS requirement (13.0 vs 15.0). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

Yandex ID holds the better App Store score, 4.6 against 2.3. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Yandex ID has 318 ratings behind it against 3, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 30% of Yandex ID's written reviews are positive against 50% of Фридом Интернет друзей's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.
