# Scrollit Pro vs Scrolling Text

The clearest difference is update cadence: Scrollit Pro at every 2 months against Scrolling Text's every 12 months. Scrollit Pro also leads on ratings volume (600 vs 41). Scrolling Text's advantage is review sentiment (86% vs 66%). On price, rating, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Scrollit Pro sells 1 one-off in-app purchase and Scrolling Text sells 1 in-app purchase, starting at $19.99 per year. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 4.7 for Scrollit Pro against 4.8 for Scrolling Text. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Scrollit Pro has 600 ratings behind it against 41, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews are what separate them: 66% of Scrollit Pro's written reviews are positive against 86% of Scrolling Text's.

Scrollit Pro ships an update every 2 months, Scrolling Text every 12 months. The most recent releases landed on October 15, 2026 and October 12, 2026 respectively.
