# Quick block notes vs Note Widget +

The clearest difference is review sentiment: Note Widget + at 78% against Quick block notes's 22%. Note Widget + also leads on update cadence (monthly vs every 8 months) and ratings volume (445 vs 1). Quick block notes's advantage is rating (5.0 vs 4.4). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Quick block notes sells 1 one-off in-app purchase and Note Widget + sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $2.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Quick block notes holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.4. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Note Widget + has 445 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 22% of Quick block notes's written reviews are positive against 78% of Note Widget +'s, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Quick block notes ships an update every 8 months, Note Widget + monthly. The most recent releases landed on November 1, 2026 and November 3, 2026 respectively.
