# Hue Ball vs MultiGuys

The clearest difference is update cadence: MultiGuys at every 5 months against Hue Ball's every 87 months. MultiGuys also leads on rating (4.7 vs 4.3). Hue Ball's advantage is ratings volume (309 vs 33) and review sentiment (76% vs 67%). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Hue Ball sells 1 one-off in-app purchase and MultiGuys sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

MultiGuys holds the better App Store score, 4.7 against 4.3. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Hue Ball has 309 ratings behind it against 33, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 76% of Hue Ball's written reviews are positive against 67% of MultiGuys's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Hue Ball ships an update every 87 months, MultiGuys every 5 months. Both last shipped on October 24, 2026.
