# Intervals Pro vs Intervals

The clearest difference is in-app purchases: Intervals at none against Intervals Pro's 8. Intervals also leads on rating (5.0 vs 4.8). Intervals Pro's advantage is update cadence (weekly vs every 3 months) and ratings volume (14K vs 2). On price, ads, device support and iOS requirement there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Intervals Pro sells 8 in-app purchases, starting at $2.99 per month. Intervals asks for nothing beyond the download.

Intervals holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.8. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Intervals Pro has 14K ratings behind it against 2, so its average is the more settled of the two.

Intervals Pro ships an update weekly, Intervals every 3 months. The most recent releases landed on October 31, 2026 and October 30, 2026 respectively.
