# Anki Master vs AI Flashcards

Anki Master and AI Flashcards both sit at 4.3 stars, but that hides the real split: 62% of Anki Master's written reviews are positive against 0% of AI Flashcards's. Anki Master also leads on iOS requirement (9.0 vs 15.5). AI Flashcards's advantage is ads (none vs shown) and update cadence (every 6 days vs fortnightly). On price, rating, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Anki Master sells 3 one-off in-app purchases and AI Flashcards sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $4.99 per 7 days. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

AI Flashcards holds the better App Store score, 4.5 against 4.3. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: AI Flashcards has 116 ratings behind it against 20, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 62% of Anki Master's written reviews are positive against 0% of AI Flashcards's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Anki Master ships an update fortnightly, AI Flashcards every 6 days. The most recent releases landed on October 18, 2026 and October 21, 2026 respectively.
