# XonTel vs Pass

XonTel and Pass both sit at 4.0 stars, but that hides the real split: 100% of XonTel's written reviews are positive against 54% of Pass's. XonTel also leads on iOS requirement (9.0 vs 15.6). Pass's advantage is ratings volume (50 vs 2). On price, rating, update cadence and ads there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 4.0 for XonTel against 4.1 for Pass. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Pass has 50 ratings behind it against 2, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews are what separate them: 100% of XonTel's written reviews are positive against 54% of Pass's.

Both ship on a similar rhythm, roughly every 5 weeks. Both last shipped on October 24, 2026.
