# Beveren vs Familynet

The clearest difference is update cadence: Familynet at every 2 weeks against Beveren's every 3 months. Beveren's advantage is iOS requirement (12.0 vs 15.0). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

Beveren ships an update every 3 months, Familynet every 2 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 26, 2026 and October 27, 2026 respectively.
