# Extel CCTV vs CHOR

The clearest difference is update cadence: CHOR at every 3 months against Extel CCTV's every 7 months. Extel CCTV's advantage is iOS requirement (6.0 vs 15.0). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

Extel CCTV ships an update every 7 months, CHOR every 3 months. The most recent releases landed on June 25, 2026 and September 14, 2026 respectively.
