# Gesture Recognizer Fun vs Capybara Spa

The clearest difference is rating: Capybara Spa at 4.7 against Gesture Recognizer Fun's 1.0. Capybara Spa also leads on ratings volume (1K vs 1). Gesture Recognizer Fun's advantage is in-app purchases (none vs 5) and ads (none vs shown). On price, update cadence and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Capybara Spa sells 5 one-off in-app purchases. Gesture Recognizer Fun asks for nothing beyond the download.

Capybara Spa holds the better App Store score, 4.7 against 1.0. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Capybara Spa has 1K ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 100% of Gesture Recognizer Fun's written reviews are positive against 80% of Capybara Spa's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Gesture Recognizer Fun ships an update every 5 months, Capybara Spa every 3 months. The most recent releases landed on November 1, 2026 and November 3, 2026 respectively.
