# MsgSecret vs 0

The clearest difference is rating: 0 at 5.0 against MsgSecret's 4.2. 0 also leads on monetization model (free vs paid) and iOS requirement (15.0 vs 17.0). MsgSecret's advantage is review sentiment (83% vs 67%) and ratings volume (5 vs 1). On price, update cadence and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. MsgSecret sells 1 one-off in-app purchase and 0 sells 1 in-app purchase, starting at $2.99 per year. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

0 holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.2. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: MsgSecret has 5 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 83% of MsgSecret's written reviews are positive against 67% of 0's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

MsgSecret ships an update every 68 months, 0 every 81 months. The most recent releases landed on October 5, 2026 and October 16, 2026 respectively.
