# MsgSecret vs Cipher Key

The clearest difference is in-app purchases: Cipher Key at none against MsgSecret's 1. Cipher Key also leads on iOS requirement (13.0 vs 17.0). On price, ads and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. MsgSecret sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Cipher Key asks for nothing beyond the download.
