# MedAbility vs MRCEM Primary Prep

The clearest difference is device support: MedAbility at 4 against MRCEM Primary Prep's 2. MedAbility also leads on iOS requirement (8.1 vs 17.0). On price, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. MedAbility sells 1 one-off in-app purchase and MRCEM Primary Prep sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $9.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.
