# FlyVPN vs Argon VPN

The clearest difference is monetization model: Argon VPN at free with in-app purchases against FlyVPN's subscription. Argon VPN also leads on update cadence (every 2 weeks vs every 6 weeks). FlyVPN's advantage is ads (none vs shown) and device support (4 vs 2). On price, rating, in-app purchases and iOS requirement there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. FlyVPN sells 10 in-app purchases, starting at $11.99 per month and Argon VPN sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $5.99 per 7 days. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 4.5 for FlyVPN against 4.5 for Argon VPN. Both are backed by a comparable volume of ratings — 1.4K and 363 respectively.

FlyVPN ships an update every 6 weeks, Argon VPN every 2 weeks. The most recent releases landed on November 1, 2026 and November 4, 2026 respectively.
