# FlyVPN vs VPN Pro

The clearest difference is monetization model: VPN Pro at free with in-app purchases against FlyVPN's subscription. VPN Pro also leads on update cadence (every 5 days vs every 6 weeks) and review sentiment (83% vs 62%). FlyVPN's advantage is ads (none vs shown) and device support (4 vs 2). On price, rating, ratings volume and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. FlyVPN sells 15 in-app purchases, starting at $11.99 per month and VPN Pro sells 5 in-app purchases, starting at $2.99 per 7 days. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 4.5 for FlyVPN against 4.6 for VPN Pro. Both are backed by a comparable volume of ratings — 1.4K and 876 respectively. Written reviews are what separate them: 62% of FlyVPN's written reviews are positive against 83% of VPN Pro's.

FlyVPN ships an update every 6 weeks, VPN Pro every 5 days. Both last shipped on October 22, 2026.
