# Chromaticon vs SicTransit

The clearest difference is update cadence: SicTransit at fortnightly against Chromaticon's monthly. Chromaticon's advantage is iOS requirement (10.0 vs 12.4). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Chromaticon sells 4 one-off in-app purchases and SicTransit sells 5 one-off in-app purchases. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Chromaticon ships an update monthly, SicTransit fortnightly. The most recent releases landed on October 6, 2026 and October 5, 2026 respectively.
