# Step vs Weyes

The clearest difference is device support: Step at 3 against Weyes's 1. Step also leads on iOS requirement (13.0 vs 18.1). On price, update cadence, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

Step ships an update monthly, Weyes every 3 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 14, 2026 and October 11, 2026 respectively.
