# Canvera vs TrueCloud

The clearest difference is rating: TrueCloud at 3.1 against Canvera's 2.4. Canvera's advantage is in-app purchases (none vs 15) and ads (none vs shown). On price, ratings volume, update cadence and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. TrueCloud sells 13 one-off in-app purchases. Canvera asks for nothing beyond the download.

TrueCloud holds the better App Store score, 3.1 against 2.4. Both are backed by a comparable volume of ratings — 10 and 10 respectively. Written reviews complicate that: 25% of Canvera's written reviews are positive against 16% of TrueCloud's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Both ship on a similar rhythm, roughly every 3 months. The most recent releases landed on September 28, 2026 and October 14, 2026 respectively.
