# RoadWarrior Route Planner vs Loop

The clearest difference is ratings volume: RoadWarrior Route Planner at 7.5K against Loop's 10. RoadWarrior Route Planner also leads on rating (4.6 vs 4.4) and chart position (#20 vs unranked). On price, review sentiment, update cadence and ads there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. RoadWarrior Route Planner sells 5 in-app purchases, starting at $14.99 per month and Loop sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $2.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

RoadWarrior Route Planner holds the better App Store score, 4.6 against 4.4. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: RoadWarrior Route Planner has 7.5K ratings behind it against 10, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 61% of RoadWarrior Route Planner's written reviews are positive against 67% of Loop's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

RoadWarrior Route Planner ships an update fortnightly, Loop every 2 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 26, 2026 and October 28, 2026 respectively.
