# Eventail vs MyDayWidget

The clearest difference is update cadence: Eventail at every 2 weeks against MyDayWidget's every 5 weeks. Eventail also leads on ratings volume (183 vs 31) and iOS requirement (14.0 vs 16.6). On price, rating, review sentiment and ads there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Eventail sells 1 one-off in-app purchase and MyDayWidget sells 2 one-off in-app purchases. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

MyDayWidget holds the better App Store score, 4.5 against 4.3. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Eventail has 183 ratings behind it against 31, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews point the same way: 55% of Eventail's written reviews are positive against 62% of MyDayWidget's.

Eventail ships an update every 2 weeks, MyDayWidget every 5 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 24, 2026 and October 27, 2026 respectively.
