# Image Sync vs FreshMask

The clearest difference is ads: Image Sync at none against FreshMask's shown. Image Sync also leads on iOS requirement (13.0 vs 15.0). FreshMask's advantage is update cadence (every 9 days vs every 3 months). On price, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

Image Sync ships an update every 3 months, FreshMask every 9 days. The most recent releases landed on October 23, 2026 and October 8, 2026 respectively.
