# Projects Explorer vs Saudi Energy

The clearest difference is rating: Saudi Energy at 4.7 against Projects Explorer's 3.3. Saudi Energy also leads on update cadence (every 3 weeks vs every 35 months) and ratings volume (13K vs 3). Projects Explorer's advantage is review sentiment (67% vs 52%) and iOS requirement (11.0 vs 15.1). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

Saudi Energy holds the better App Store score, 4.7 against 3.3. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Saudi Energy has 13K ratings behind it against 3, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 67% of Projects Explorer's written reviews are positive against 52% of Saudi Energy's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Projects Explorer ships an update every 35 months, Saudi Energy every 3 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 17, 2026 and October 21, 2026 respectively.
