# iris GO vs Holograd

The clearest difference is rating: Holograd at 3.3 against iris GO's 1.8. Holograd also leads on update cadence (every 3 weeks vs every 2 months). iris GO's advantage is ratings volume (67 vs 6) and review sentiment (10% vs 0%). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

Holograd holds the better App Store score, 3.3 against 1.8. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: iris GO has 67 ratings behind it against 6, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 10% of iris GO's written reviews are positive against 0% of Holograd's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

iris GO ships an update every 2 months, Holograd every 3 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 20, 2026 and October 24, 2026 respectively.
