# iris GO vs Planet Digital

The clearest difference is rating: Planet Digital at 2.4 against iris GO's 1.8. Planet Digital also leads on update cadence (every 3 weeks vs every 2 months). On price, review sentiment, ratings volume and ads there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

Planet Digital holds the better App Store score, 2.4 against 1.8. Both are backed by a comparable volume of ratings — 66 and 35 respectively. iris GO ships an update every 2 months, Planet Digital every 3 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 12, 2026 and October 9, 2026 respectively.
