# Splash vs Moth

The clearest difference is rating: Splash at 4.7 against Moth's 3.6. Splash also leads on ratings volume (6.4K vs 5). Moth's advantage is in-app purchases (none vs 10) and ads (none vs shown). On price and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Splash sells 10 one-off in-app purchases. Moth asks for nothing beyond the download.

Splash holds the better App Store score, 4.7 against 3.6. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Splash has 6.4K ratings behind it against 5, so its average is the more settled of the two.
