# WordBoard vs Musa Keys

The clearest difference is in-app purchases: Musa Keys at none against WordBoard's 3. Musa Keys also leads on iOS requirement (15.0 vs 18.0). WordBoard's advantage is ratings volume (5.6K vs 4) and update cadence (every 3 weeks vs every 3 months). On price, rating, ads and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. WordBoard sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $7.99 per month. Musa Keys asks for nothing beyond the download.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 4.9 for WordBoard against 5.0 for Musa Keys. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: WordBoard has 5.6K ratings behind it against 4, so its average is the more settled of the two.

WordBoard ships an update every 3 weeks, Musa Keys every 3 months. The most recent releases landed on October 26, 2026 and October 7, 2026 respectively.
