# HazMat Informer vs CRE Toolbox

The clearest difference is review sentiment: HazMat Informer at 40% against CRE Toolbox's 7%. CRE Toolbox's advantage is rating (2.5 vs 2.1) and ratings volume (128 vs 7). On price, update cadence, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

CRE Toolbox holds the better App Store score, 2.5 against 2.1. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: CRE Toolbox has 128 ratings behind it against 7, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 40% of HazMat Informer's written reviews are positive against 7% of CRE Toolbox's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

HazMat Informer ships an update every 2 months, CRE Toolbox monthly. Both last shipped on October 24, 2026.
