# Great Work™ vs Emburse Spend

The clearest difference is rating: Great Work™ at 4.6 against Emburse Spend's 2.8. Great Work™ also leads on ratings volume (3K vs 23). Emburse Spend's advantage is review sentiment (50% vs 17%). On price, update cadence, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

Great Work™ holds the better App Store score, 4.6 against 2.8. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Great Work™ has 3K ratings behind it against 23, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 17% of Great Work™'s written reviews are positive against 50% of Emburse Spend's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Great Work™ ships an update every 5 weeks, Emburse Spend every 3 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 22, 2026 and October 21, 2026 respectively.
