# Al Manhal vs Comprehensive Islamic Library

The clearest difference is rating: Comprehensive Islamic Library at 4.4 against Al Manhal's 2.8. Comprehensive Islamic Library also leads on in-app purchases (none vs 14) and update cadence (every 4 weeks vs every 2 months). Al Manhal's advantage is review sentiment (83% vs 71%) and iOS requirement (11.0 vs 13.0). On price, ads and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Al Manhal sells 14 one-off in-app purchases. Comprehensive Islamic Library asks for nothing beyond the download.

Comprehensive Islamic Library holds the better App Store score, 4.4 against 2.8. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Comprehensive Islamic Library has 63 ratings behind it against 10, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 83% of Al Manhal's written reviews are positive against 71% of Comprehensive Islamic Library's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Al Manhal ships an update every 2 months, Comprehensive Islamic Library every 4 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 13, 2026 and October 24, 2026 respectively.
