# S Camera vs VSim

The clearest difference is review sentiment: VSim at 85% against S Camera's 17%. VSim also leads on rating (4.7 vs 2.5) and ratings volume (17K vs 19). S Camera's advantage is ads (none vs shown) and iOS requirement (7.0 vs 13.0). On price, in-app purchases, monetization model and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. S Camera sells 1 one-off in-app purchase and VSim sells 6 one-off in-app purchases. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

VSim holds the better App Store score, 4.7 against 2.5. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: VSim has 17K ratings behind it against 19, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews point the same way: 17% of S Camera's written reviews are positive against 85% of VSim's.

S Camera ships an update every 7 months, VSim every 2 months. The most recent releases landed on October 20, 2026 and October 27, 2026 respectively.
