# ZALA vs Plus TV

The clearest difference is rating: Plus TV at 5.0 against ZALA's 1.0. ZALA's advantage is ads (none vs shown) and monetization model (free vs ad-supported). On price, review sentiment, update cadence and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

Plus TV holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 1.0. Both are backed by a comparable volume of ratings — 3 and 1 respectively. Written reviews complicate that: 7% of ZALA's written reviews are positive against 0% of Plus TV's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

ZALA ships an update every 4 months, Plus TV every 5 months. The most recent releases landed on September 23, 2026 and September 24, 2026 respectively.
