# Zoombinis vs BHOTH Stat tracker

The clearest difference is rating: Zoombinis at 4.5 against BHOTH Stat tracker's 3.6. Zoombinis also leads on update cadence (every 6 weeks vs every 11 months) and ratings volume (600 vs 8). BHOTH Stat tracker's advantage is in-app purchases (none vs 1) and review sentiment (75% vs 67%). On price, ads, device support and iOS requirement there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Zoombinis sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. BHOTH Stat tracker asks for nothing beyond the download.

Zoombinis holds the better App Store score, 4.5 against 3.6. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Zoombinis has 600 ratings behind it against 8, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 67% of Zoombinis's written reviews are positive against 75% of BHOTH Stat tracker's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Zoombinis ships an update every 6 weeks, BHOTH Stat tracker every 11 months. The most recent releases landed on October 26, 2026 and October 18, 2026 respectively.
