# Minds.com vs Brackets Social

The clearest difference is rating: Brackets Social at 5.0 against Minds.com's 4.3. Minds.com's advantage is ratings volume (1.6K vs 1) and device support (3 vs 1). On price, update cadence, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Minds.com sells 8 in-app purchases, starting at $0.99 per 7 days and Brackets Social sells 1 in-app purchase, starting at $4.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Brackets Social holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.3. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Minds.com has 1.6K ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two.

Minds.com ships an update every 5 weeks, Brackets Social every 3 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 12, 2026 and October 7, 2026 respectively.
