# Report It! SMC vs Flipper Mobile App

The clearest difference is review sentiment: Report It! SMC at 100% against Flipper Mobile App's 69%. Flipper Mobile App's advantage is update cadence (every 3 weeks vs every 3 months) and rating (4.5 vs 4.2). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

Flipper Mobile App holds the better App Store score, 4.5 against 4.2. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Flipper Mobile App has 313 ratings behind it against 12, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 100% of Report It! SMC's written reviews are positive against 69% of Flipper Mobile App's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Report It! SMC ships an update every 3 months, Flipper Mobile App every 3 weeks. Both last shipped on October 24, 2026.
