# בגרות בלשון vs SmartWord

The clearest difference is rating: SmartWord at 5.0 against בגרות בלשון's 4.4. SmartWord also leads on update cadence (every 2 weeks vs every 2 months). בגרות בלשון's advantage is ads (none vs shown) and monetization model (free vs free with in-app purchases). On price, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. בגרות בלשון sells 1 one-off in-app purchase and SmartWord sells 4 in-app purchases, starting at $0.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

SmartWord holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.4. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: בגרות בלשון has 5 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two.

בגרות בלשון ships an update every 2 months, SmartWord every 2 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 11, 2026 and September 19, 2026 respectively.
