# Sessions vs Brightway

The clearest difference is update cadence: Sessions at every 5 days against Brightway's every 2 weeks. Sessions also leads on iOS requirement (7.0 vs 15.0). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Sessions sells 1 one-off in-app purchase and Brightway sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $2.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Sessions ships an update every 5 days, Brightway every 2 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 20, 2026 and October 14, 2026 respectively.
