# FreshSchools vs LAUSD

FreshSchools and LAUSD both sit at 2.7 stars, but that hides the real split: 100% of FreshSchools's written reviews are positive against 13% of LAUSD's. FreshSchools also leads on iOS requirement (9.0 vs 15.6). LAUSD's advantage is ratings volume (66 vs 10). On price, rating, update cadence and ads there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 2.7 for FreshSchools against 2.8 for LAUSD.
