# FreshSchools vs LASAR

The clearest difference is review sentiment: FreshSchools at 100% against LASAR's 0%. FreshSchools also leads on update cadence (monthly vs every 7 months) and iOS requirement (9.0 vs 15.1). LASAR's advantage is rating (3.9 vs 2.7). On price, ratings volume, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

LASAR holds the better App Store score, 3.9 against 2.7. Both are backed by a comparable volume of ratings — 10 and 11 respectively.
