# FidSafe vs True Scan PDF

The clearest difference is review sentiment: True Scan PDF at 100% against FidSafe's 11%. True Scan PDF also leads on rating (5.0 vs 2.5) and update cadence (every 10 days vs every 5 months). FidSafe's advantage is in-app purchases (none vs 1) and ratings volume (40 vs 4). On price, ads, monetization model and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. True Scan PDF sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. FidSafe asks for nothing beyond the download.

True Scan PDF holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 2.5.
