# TENGO App vs Kash

The clearest difference is rating: Kash at 4.0 against TENGO App's 1.0. Kash also leads on ratings volume (141 vs 1) and update cadence (fortnightly vs monthly). TENGO App's advantage is monetization model (free vs free with in-app purchases). On price, review sentiment, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

Kash holds the better App Store score, 4.0 against 1.0. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Kash has 141 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews split almost evenly too, at 36% and 36% positive.

TENGO App ships an update monthly, Kash fortnightly. The most recent releases landed on October 3, 2026 and October 15, 2026 respectively.
